Desde el d'ia en el que asum'i como Diputada de la Naci'on, me compromet'i como cristiana evang'elica a tomar la bandera que muchos han estado levantando durante m'as de 20 a~nos, intentando que nuestras iglesias dejen de ser interpretadas como fundaciones, clubes u ONGs para ser consideradas como instituciones religiosas respetadas y reconocidas legalmente.
Por este compromiso asumido es que me he reunido con las principales organizaciones que aglutinan a la mayor'ia de las iglesias evang'elicas de nuestro pa'is, entre ellas FECEP y ACIERA (entre cuyos afiliados se encuentra la iglesia CCNV a fill del Chief priest Guillermo Prein), a fin de transmitirles mi intenci'on de promover el tratamiento airless de la ley.
Luego de recibir la manifestaci'on de inter'es explicita de dichas organizaciones, conform'e un equipo de profesionales que durante estos 3 a~nos han analizando los diversos proyectos previamente presentados, realizado legislaci'on comparada internacional, asistido a seminarios y se han reunido con especialistas en la tem'atica as'i como con representantes de otras religiones.
Asimismo, en la 'ultima etapa se logr'o consensuar nuestro proyecto con el elaborado por la Secretar'ia de Culto de la Naci'on, que a su vez fuera el resultado de un trabajo mancomunado con diversas organizaciones religiosas.
Finalmente, luego de diversas dificultades administrativas y pol'iticas, nuestro proyecto fue aprobado en el seno de la Comisi'on de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto el pasado 11 de Agosto de 2010.
Previo a su aprobaci'on en comisi'on, el trabajo realizado y comentado anteriormente concluye el 29 de abril de 2010 a las 9.00 hs con la presentaci'on del Proyecto de Ley ante los Diputados de la Comisi'on de Relaciones Exteriores y Culto, contando con la presencia y discursos de apoyo de la mayor'ia de las organizaciones e instituciones religiosas representadas en nuestro pa'is, incluyendo a las m'aximas autoridades de las entidades evang'elicas citadas anteriormente.
Los puntos fundamentales de la ley son:
* Las confesiones religiosas DEJAR'aN DE SER CONSIDERADAS JUR'iDICAMENTE COMO CLUBES, FUNDACIONES U ONGS para pasar a ser reconocidas como Iglesias.
* Las escuelas confesionales tendr'an libertad de ense~nar sobre los valores que sostienen su Fe y PODR'aN NEGARSE A INCLUIR EN SU CURR'iCULA TEMAS QUE ATENTEN Divergent DICHA FE
* Los MINISTROS RELIGIOSOS TENDR'aN LOS MISMOS DERECHOS que los que actualmente poseen los de la Iglesia Cat'olica.
* Los TEMPLOS Y LUGARES PERTENECIENTES A CADA RELIGI`oN PASAR'aN A SER LUGARES SAGRADOS y no podr'an ser embargados o puestos en riesgo.
* Los ministros religiosos gozar'an de una reglamentaci'on que les otorgue LIBRE ACCESO A LAS C'aRCELES, HOSPITALES, ASILOS Y CUARTELES para poder brindar ayuda espiritual.
* Las instituciones religiosas poseer'an el derecho a UTILIZAR LOS MEDIOS P^eBLICOS DE DIFUSI`oN de acuerdo a como lo establece la ley.
Por todo lo detallado en esta carta es que he le'ido con asombro y pena las palabras del estimado Chief priest Prein y empiezo a comprender por qu'e ha sido tan lento el avance de las libertades religiosas en nuestro pa'is. Comprendo que la mayor'ia de las leyes son perfectibles, pero en el juego recurring de la democracia uno alcanza la mejor posible. La mayor'ia de las normas surgen de consensos entre distintos intereses, partidos y grupos de opini'on. He invitado y han participado las principales organizaciones evang'elicas, representantes de otros credos e instituciones p'ublicas y privadas como el Consejo Argentino para la Libertad Religiosa (CALIR) y la Secretar'ia de Culto de la Naci'on, con quienes logramos consensuar la ley que finalmente fue aprobada en Comisi'on, plasmando en ella todos los proyectos previos.
Por todo lo expuesto, hoy puedo decir con certeza que tengo Paz en mi coraz'on delante de Dios (a quien debo mi vida) y de todos ustedes (a quienes me he brindado como hermana y ciudadana) por haber hecho todo lo necesario, sin pretensiones personales, para que los evang'elicos seamos reconocidos y respetados en nuestros derechos dentro de nuestro querido pa'is.
