Interested in learning how to read Tarot cards? If so, one of your first decisions will be "What style of deck should I use".
Although there are now hundreds of varieties of Tarot decks, most fall into one of three general styles -- Marseilles, Rider-Waite-Smith (also called Rider-Waite, or just RWS), and Thoth.
There are typically 78 cards in a Tarot deck -- 14 cards in each of four different suits, plus an extra 22 cards called the "Trump" cards. These 22 trump cards are known as the Major Arcana, the remaining 56 cards are called the Minor Arcana. It's the treatement of the Major and Minor Arcana that determines which general style your deck follows.
The first style -- Marseilles -- follows the traditional, old-school style found in early Tarot decks. The artwork on the Major Arcana tends to be simple and limited to only a few colors. The Minor Arcana looks much like ordinary playing cards -- there are four face cards (King, Queen, Knight, Page) and 10 "pip" cards (Ace through Ten). Again, the artwork on the face cards tends to be simple. The pip cards don't have artwork other than a "pip" count. For instance, a Five of Swords will have five swords depicted on the card.
The Marseilles style looks so much like playing cards because Tarot decks were originally used to play a card game! It wasn't until later that mystics began to use these decks for divinatory purposes.
The second style of deck -- RWS (After Rider, the publisher, Waite, the designer, and Smith, the artist) -- was published in the early 1900's. It was designed from the very beginning for magickal use.
Because of this, the artwork is much more complex and symbolic. The Major Arcana and the face cards are much more colorful, lifelike, and detailed. It's the Minor Arcana, though, where you'll find the main difference.
Rather than use pip simple counts, the artist (Pamela Coleman Smith -- who also illustrated childrens adventure stories) decided to draw vignettes of people engaged in some phase of everyday life. Because of this, the pip card images touch your subjective mind and yield many thoughtful perspectives -- what are the people thinking, what are their motivations, what are their fears, etc -- to enrich Tarot readings.
The final deck style is the Thoth style -- named after a deck designed by Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Freida Harris. The Thoth deck was intended for magickal use from the very beginning. The paintings are surrealistic and highly symbolic. Thoth adds a new technique to the mix, though. Each non-face card of the Minor Arcana has a subheading describing some motivation or aspect -- things like Happiness, Luxury, Virtue, Oppression, etc. Because of this, some readers find it easy to read with Thoth decks. Thoth decks also make it easy to draw from other esoteric disciplines -- astrology or Kabbalah, for example -- in order to create inspired Tarot readings.
Most decks you'll find in a bookstore will follow one of these three basic styles. Marseilles styles will use pip counts, RWS styles will use pip scenes, and Thoth styles tend to be surrealistic but label the Minor Arcana with additional descriptions.

Tarot Decks Come In Three Flavors
Tarot Cards Meanings The Tower
The Tower ~ Rejuvenation, rebuilding and the break down of old ways, old forms and old patterns. The very first time I saw the Tower in a reading, I must admit, I felt tremendous fear; major change was on the horizon.
This card looks like violence and chaos are on the way, at least that's the way that I perceived this card, when I first began my journey learning about the Tarot and then eventually teaching the Tarot. It would be many years, through many, many experiences, that I would finally come to appreciate all that the Tower, in a reading, had to offer.
In our human nature, we become complacent with having things remain the same, with little or no change, thinking that no change is a safe place to be and to live. However, this is not true. Becoming complacent to our life and hoping for no change in our lives, prevents us from growing, learning and evolving into the adults that we are meant to be from heart centered and soul blueprinted awareness.
The Tower and the changes that the Tower represent can sometimes be scary, but it is through the breakdown and breakthrough of old forms of thinking, that we see the world and our life in a new light.
When my journey began with the Tarot back in the 80s, I remember the Tower coming up a lot in the readings that I did for myself. I also remember the Tower coming up when another was doing a reading for me. And although I had no deeper understanding to what was in the process of coming into my life and altering the course of my life drastically, I knew that it was going to be big.
It has been 25 years since the Tower first made its presence known to me. Everyday that I consider and contemplate the life changes, that at first began as negatives, shifting and transforming to challenges and obstacles, it would be through the Tarot, that I would finally understand that I was being challenged to grow, to step into my life's work and my life's path. The Tower insured that I would bring much needed insight and clarity to each changing experience in my life, until I learned how to utilize the gifts and tools of my awareness to truly understand that all negatives have the ability to transform into knowledge and awareness on our life journey.
So, if in a reading you see the Tower come up, have no fear. Remember that change is on its way and that with common sense, intuition and the tools of inner knowing, each of us can transform our experiences to ones of heart centered and soul blueprinted awareness.
For in truth, the Tower offers great opportunity to step into alignment with the true voice and wisdom of our own inner knowing.
In the end, the Tower offers us opportunities to build a much stronger, inner foundation in our lives.

Tarot Cards Judgment Or Aeon
In the Alleister Crowley Thoth Deck, this card is called The Aeon. This card represents the essence of good judgment or discernment. As I have been utilizing the wisdom and gifts of the Tarot since 1984, and have had many different styles and types of Tarot decks, as I was so awed by their beauty and wisdom, I would soon discover how the Tarot could evolve into deeper awareness and understanding for the many life changes, that I faced and that we face in our lives.
Aeon, through the definition in a dictionary, represents a long period of time. In the Alleister Crowley Deck, the card Judgment/Aeon represents and offers us the opportunity to look at the whole picture. If considering the picture of this card, the inner woman, has the ability to touch the earth and reach for the stars. In essence, she offers us the right use of our inner creativity, that brings positive aspects to other areas of our life. This card and its energy also offers a balance of our inner and outer life, our male and female, our action and feeling, our personal and professional. This card also teaches and offers opportunity for growth when judging ourselves or each other.
When this card is present in your reading, if this card comes in a reversed position, this reversed position is showing where we are placing judgment on ourselves, or with another. If this card comes into your reading in a upright position, either you are working toward balance and integration or you have succeeded in learning about balance and integration for all aspects of your life.
As always, whether with this card, or other cards in the Tarot, when looking deeper into each individual card, the Tarot has this amazing ability to share and guide us toward greater insight in the changes, that we do experience in our lives.
As I have been utilizing the wisdom of the Tarot since 1984, I have undergone many life changes and experiences. Prior to my understanding that I was walking the path of ascension, I was walking an awakening journey.
In the beginning of my journey, although I could understand concepts and situations in my mind, I was very unskilled in successfully verbalizing what was in my head.
Once I began my journey for learning the Tarot, doing consultations and teaching the Tarot, I was on my way to accessing deep intuitive awareness. 27 years later, I am very thankful, that although some of my learning was at times challenging, I cannot imagine not having the wisdom, guidance and insight of the Tarot.
Judgment/Aeon ~ this card is an excellent card to work with when we are looking to bring balance and integration into our lives.

Tarot Cards Do They Work
Do Tarot cards work? Yes, they do. I was introduced to the Tarot, back in the early 80's. The first time I saw them, I immediately felt drawn to them. The energy of the cards, felt as tho' they had been with me in like forever. I was 27, when the cards were introduced to me a second time. Prior to seeing the cards in the 80's, my first husband had had a deck, wrapped with some other neat stuff from the 60's and prior to that, I had had many dreams about a caravan of gypsies, traveling through Europe, with their colorful tents and their unusual and unique way of life, stopping off to different villages.
Now, how on earth would this little sharing signify that the Tarot cards work? It turns out that the dream of the traveling gypsy caravan was actually my grandfathers' adopted parents and family doing the traveling. They were a psychic band of gypsies that did fortune telling and palmistry, for each town they visited. I had been having this dream, on and off for a few years, until one day, while recuperating from knee surgery, I was telling my mom about my dream and she informed me of my grandfathers' life, when he was a kid. Imagine my surprise!
My grandfather’s adoptive mom was the one that did card readings and palmistry. My grandfathers life, was very hush, hush back in those days, those days being the early 1900's. For me, back in the 70's, the timing of talking about the Tarot was just not right. Obviously, I was in awe, but would soon forget about the dreams, until 7 years later, when I got married and my husband and I were unpacking and out came the deck of cards: the Rider Waite Tarot. Again, the cards made their appearance and were put away and forgotten. Finally, in 1984, the cards made another appearance in my life. I was 27 and it seemed like the timing was right.
The Tarot is a journey of consciousness and of wisdom, that shows us visually and energetically, the creative ideas and levels of consciousness that appear to us in our life experiences.
The Tarot, and the energy and essence of these cards were determined to be a part of my life. I was born into an Italian/Catholic family in this life and so logically and humanly, the Tarot was not a topic of conversation that would take place in my home life and yet, as an empath, with a high level of intuition, the Tarot was going to become a part of my life, no matter what.
The Tarot cards work, however, not in the way that I logically thought they would. In my teens, 20's and very early 30's, I always felt very overwhelmed by everything I was feeling. I would sense and feel life around me, and had to play catch up, with myself in learning how to put it to words. I began to notice, that once I learned the meanings of the cards and began doing readings for others, I was able to tap into my intuition and find the words to the feelings that needed expression. Now, as I look back on this 25-year journey, it all makes perfect sense
The Tarot worked for me in the way, that it opened my logical mind and expanded and evolved my perceptions. It taught me and guided me in how to step out of logic, yes, I continue to be very logical and practical, however, my intuitive sense is my guide on my journey.
The Tarot works in teaching us how to go deeper under the surface to the visual of life. It teaches and guides us into discovering the purpose and nature of life changes.
Yes, there are times where the energy of a reading will present the potential of something coming to pass, however, for me; my journey was more of a discovery for understanding the subtle happenings under the surface to everyday life.
It is safe to say, that the Tarot works in connecting our emotions, feelings, the metaphysical and the spiritual; bringing our life and the deeper meaning, into balance and a better understanding; to live a more heart centered and soul-guided life.
When we are ready to step out of the everyday norm and follow the promptings of our heart, the Tarot works in bringing amazing new discoveries and insights to our life, that we may not have had the chance to discover.

Tarot Card Readings The Spread
When a tarot reading is done, the cards are laid out as a pattern in what is
called a spread.
There are many different types of spreads, ranging from those that comprise
of a single card to spreads that include all 78 cards of the deck. Some
spreads are only done with the Major Arcana Cards.
Which spread is applied is up to the reader and the particular type of
question or reading. Some spreads focus more on a specific type of
information.
An example of this is that a spread may be focused on a singular question,
while others are broader in terms, such as in ones outlooks and prospects in
regards to relationships, financial maters, etc...
One of the most common tarot spreads is the Celtic cross, it is used more for
those specific questions. This is the one I am going to cover in this
article.
It depends on the person giving the reading, but usually, prior to the
reading, the cards are shuffled by the person receiving it, also known as the
querent. The reason for this is that some say this carry-overs the person's
energy to the deck. The person, while shuffling, should also concentrate on
the answers they are after.
Some readers do it differently, asking the querent to cut the cards for them
after they have shuffled. Or in more traditional circles, a more complicated
sorting and separation of the cards is executed .
Card 1: Represents the Present.
Card 2: The immediate challenge confronting the querent. You will frequently
pull a hard card here, which will suggest an obstacle that must be overcome.
If you pull a "good" card here, analyse it carefully because it will still
represent a challenge.
Card 3: Distant past, foundation. This card should indicate the root of the
subject matter of the question
Card 4: More recent past, including events. This will indicate events taking
place, not necessarily directly associated to the question. For instance, if
a love affair going wrong Card 3 would show the root of why it is going wrong,
whereas Card 4 will show something that recently happened to reflect this.
You could see this as a "check comment" card - a way of seeing that the
reading is valid.
Card 5: The best that can be accomplished. This is directly associated to the
question. Note that this may not necessarily gel against Card 10 - it depends
whether you are able to get the best. However, a negative card here in all
probability signifies that it is worthwhile cutting your losses rather than
putting any more effort into the situation.
Card 6: Immediate Future. This indicates events in the next few days or week(
s). This reading does not cover months.
Card 7: Factors or internal feelings impacting the situation. Compare this
against Card 1 in order to understand underlying forces/trends. If there is
conflict between them this tends to indicate that the querent is going in the
wrong direction.
Card 8: Outside influences. People, energies or events which will affect the
outcome of the question and are beyond the querent's control.
Card 9: Hopes or fears around the situation. This may bring forth a card that
confuses us badly. Always bear in mind that hopes and fears are closely
entwined, therefore that which we hope for may also be that which we fear,
and so may fail to happen. Occasionally it is useful to draw a second card
for clarification after the reading has been laid, and to read the two
together.
Card 10: Final outcome. This is a fairly self explanatory card. However it is
worth saying that if the card comes up fairly ambiguous, once more it may be
worth drawing three extra cards to clarify. These should be interpreted
through the lens of Card 10.

Tarot Card Meaning Made Easy
Tarot predictions and interpretation heavily rely on tarot card meaning without which they would not be possible; each card has a significance and a peculiar symbolism attached to it. What people don't get to understand is that the overall spread and the card combinations give the full tarot card meaning to define a certain life aspect. For instance, in the Rider Waite tarot, the tarot learner has to know the meaning for all the seventy eight cards in order to be able to read them. From the King and the Queen to the Fool, the tarot cards can be studied, analyzed and understood depending on the sensible nature of every user.
In time all sorts of changes became manifest in tarot card reading; for people who are no strangers to the Kabbalah or alchemy, the symbols similarity cannot pass unnoticed. Thus, all sorts of symbols have been added in time so that the present-day form of the decks is a very complex one. It is also common practice to complicate things even further by personalizing the cards and adding other subtle interpretations to the decks. Thus, many amateur philosophers have their own interpretations of the mystic representations in alchemy and the Kabbalah and they choose to add them to the cards.
The tarot card meaning greatly varies depending on the interpretation; thus, a single card can be given different explanations in relation with the position it occupies in the spread and the vicinity with the rest of the cards. Very often, according to the reader's own judgment and common sense, a tarot card meaning can prove little relevance for the question under debate and thus be discarded. While in the Major Arcana, the figures have very distinct symbolism, in the Minor Arcana the emphasis is on the four alchemical elements to which the cards correspond. Thus, the pentagrams stand for earth, the wands for fire, the cups for water and the swords for air.
In general lines, the tarot card meaning gives one a clue about the way he/she goes through the personal journey: sometimes one can even see whether one is on the right path or has strayed away. This tarot card meaning is obvious for the spreads in the Major Arcana where each card matches a certain life aspect: the fool stands for the beginning of a journey, the magician shows you the path towards wisdom, the high priestess speaks of self-balance, the empress points to pleasure, wealth and love, while the emperor represents claimed power and authority, and so on and so forth.

Tarot Card Fool Meanings
The Fool is one of the Major Arcana cards, and the tarot deck is based on the journey of the Fool, also the Major Arcana begins with this card and ends with the World. The Major Arcana represents the circle of life in all its complicated stages such as spirituality, mortality, love, and change. When a Major Arcana card shows up in a spread it often indicates that there are major changes and lessons to be learned. The circle or cycle of life is also a circle that happens many times in one lifetime, and is not just a chronological cycle, and it seems that most everything that happens to us in our lives as a beginning, a middle, and an end.
The journey of the Fool who is the first of the 22 Arcana cards starts with our birth. We emerge from the womb into the world of the unknown, the beginning of our journey from childhood to adulthood. It is worth stating at this stage that this card is a rite of passage card just like all the other Arcana cards. With the Fool as we reach the end of a journey we begin a new cycle, however, this new cycle will be either higher or deeper than the last one.
So when this card appears in a tarot spread it puts us on notice that a new chapter of life is about to begin. There is a call for us to step out into the unknown, take a risk, and trust that we will be supported. Even though we will not know whether the outcome will make us look foolish or give us the awareness we are looking for two allow us to go on to the next cycle.
The image on most tarot decks is usually depicted by a young and carefree person who is embarking on life's journey, and can represent an irrational need for change and freedom for the individual. This card is often associated with Uranus, the unpredictably powerful planet of change.
In the upright position the card indicates a need for change and a willingness to leap into the unknown in order to achieve this goal.
In the reversed position the Fool can indicate an individual's energy is low, and because of this they are unable to move forward in their challenging cycle, thus slowing them down on the circle of life.
In this article, I have tried to give some basic practical knowledge about the Fool, however, it is my belief that we should always allow our intuition and psychic ability to guide us in a tarot reading.

Tarot As Entertainment
When I used to work in the Renaissance Fair, Tarot readers were classified as entertainers, along with the musicians, actors, jugglers, dancers and clowns. That did not offend me. I love to meet people and read for them in any circumstance, and if it is a festive one, that is fine with me.
Over the years, I have also been hired to entertain guests at parties in people's homes, at company events, as well as festivals and fairs. I am not offended at all if people want to think of Tarot as a form of entertainment. After all, their is pretty convincing evidence that Tarot originated as a set of playing cards with the part of the deck containing the more obviously spiritual references added some time later.
Today, Tarot and playing cards are considered two different things, although there are readers who can read with playing cards, and some people who play games with Tarot. It is fine if people want to be skeptical about what they get from a reading and it serves as a conversation starter among a group of guests. That still serves a useful purpose. And more than one skeptical person has come back to me later to confide that something that came up in a reading that they thought was irrelevant or incorrect later turned out to have a lot of validity.
Just like the court jesters, sometimes truth is easier digested when the reader mixes it in with an adventurous story, a dash of humor or some beautiful art.
After all, are we not the main characters in our own stories, the stories of our lives? Wherever certain events and characters fall on the scale of things between happy, sad, tantalizing or heroic, looking at the possibilities is always entertaining. Bear in mind that some people may prefer scary entertainment, erotic entertainment, foolish entertainment and mysterious entertainment as well as mythic and adventurous entertainment.
It's all in the cards.

Not Fractal Art 1
I keep in check felt touching on some of my artwork is unintentionally moving on the way to a aspect that one would be set to to keep in check been generated via fractal equipment, but I am arriving at the aspect physically relatively. For prototype, I love to cut spirals, and spirals upon the spirals, and leaves based in spirals upon spirals; and the over I do it, the over "some" of the leaves aspect touching on they are fractal art. It feels touching on a weird-but next fantastically wyrd and based in my faerie sight-process to come at this open-minded of the equipment. But I am as it should be seeing nature's patterns and drawing what I see, and was wholly baffled one day when I saw some fractal art and realized how considerably its manifestation has in earthy with what I make. But I paint what life looks touching on for me. It is a very subject matter way to see life. Science and magic really are not at odds.
And arriving at this place ready meditation on Gaia has been done in. Closely aspect at Celtic knotwork or Tibetan mandalas. This is such an gripping family to be having.
This series represents a deeper doodle of my contemplative visions of flora and fauna, when they resemble vector art, while next on purpose working with the universe of arriving wherever that looks pretty touching on vector art but is relatively reached physically.
I ache to be quaint that, even if I say I am operate this open-minded of vector equipment, it's yes indeed subconsciously influencing me. At the rear all, I do not live to tell the tale in a fissure. But it is not either/or; I next ache it quaint that I am mainly coming from a place of exclusive residential home behold, not slim influences. So, even if Celtic knotwork, Tibetan mandalas, and other influences are definitely there, they do not restraint the family I am having in meditation and subsequently do not restraint the paintings either. This entitlement normal unable to be realized and, accordingly, my saying all this entitlement make me reach your destination so oblivious of my residential home work out that I do not see its influences.
Without favoritism the differing is true, I keep in check immense self-awareness, which is allowing fantastic visions, visions of such principal aspects of flora and fauna that they are declared by other mystical art traditions. My visions are a end result of decades of my shamanic practices, and I suffer so blessed to be having these experiences and to see them declared.

Nearby is no trepidation that evolutionary thinking, in the same way as handy universally, is bizarre to Christianity.
The assumptions, inclusions and dealings of evolutionary thinking are unerringly "defiant" from group of Christianity.
But what does this imply?
*
My belief is that this merely implies that a Christian request regard evolutionary conclusion as well as natural select as "hierarchically subordinate "to Christianity; in the dimple that it must (sooner or later) be Christianity which decides the applications of evolutionary thinking.
Evolutionary conclusion request for this reason be underhanded to definite applications and definite purposes (and "not" whispered to be robotically and universally suitable for all purposes).
This seems focus, but near are injured aspects to this copy.

One aspect is the hierarchy within the 'sciences'.
Evolutionary conclusion is subordinate to biology, and biology to science as a whole - i.e. the definite explanations of evolutionary conclusion are "obligatory" to use the entities and processes as described by biology; and biology must itself blend in to chemistry and physics; and all these sciences are obligatory to blend in to the programming of arithmetic and logic.
In other words, evolutionary conclusion is not only subordinated to Christianity (in an zealous dimple) but is second proximately subordinated to the basic sciences, to arithmetic, and to logic.
Evolutionary conclusion "unerringly is" a subordinate and specialised area.
*
Likewise, evolutionary thinking is in no way "different "in soul a mode of negotiations bizarre to Christianity.
Not quite all modes of negotiations are in fact bizarre to Christianity.
All sciences are bizarre modes of negotiations, from a Christian perspective - since they stop divine explanations - divine causes, objective, meanings, telephone lines...
And so, for the precise cause, is arithmetic - and even philosophy (which is defined as solitary from theology).
*
Does this matter? Yes, it does.
What it cash that in the same way as "actually-engaged-in" any one of these specialised and non-Christian modes of thinking, afterward the truth of Christianity is sphinx-like, disqualified.
And if, or in the same way as, a class is actively-engaged-in these actions (or indeed common other actions such as the Law, of mixture, or a craft) as a job, or for aspiration periods; afterward for at lowest that time, and possibly longer, and possibly for all time - (in the same way as the procedure is powerfully stage set) a class is not speaking from Christianity (turned to another place from God).

1. In far-flung Christian support near is a bend on evolutionary conclusion as loathsome to Christianity. This is true - but it is "not only" true of evolutionary conclusion.
2. The metaphysical problem is due to "the comprehensive treatment of bizarre modes of negotiations" (as well as but not underhanded to evolutionary conclusion) as if they were hierarchically-superior ideas, not to their definite and subordinate treatment for practical purposes.
3. The psychological problem is one of "procedure" - that a mode of negotiations which is "convincingly plausible for underhanded purposes" becomes so stubborn that it is recycled inconsiderately (and possibly tight and possibly once and for all) as "the" metaphysical framework for understanding flash, the formation and something. It is continually false to use definite practical discourses as comprehensive (i.e. metaphysical) frameworks, in wrap somebody in cotton wool procedure obscures the fact that these discourses are finicky and enthusiast in satisfied and logic, are produced and lingering by their exclusions.
4. In a world of specialised functions, near are for this reason common causes and reasons that the everyday think logically is aimed in modes of thinking which make unfriendly from Christianity.
The cognitive causes of estrangement declare evolutionary modes of way of thinking, but as well every other specialised mode of thinking - philosophy, law, politics, the sciences, the arts - seeing that these stop divine operations.

But even this is not different to evolutionary thinking: all specialised modes of knowledge as well as philosophy, science, law, arts... are self-refuting and lead to nihilism if recycled as metaphysical systems.
*
Conclusion: the believe and public hazards of evolutionary thinking are real but not unique: evolutionary thinking is merely one of common discourses with scene to pause and break the translucent everyday tolerance on certainty.
Any specialised and pragmatically-applicable support becomes diseased in the same way as recycled universally and as a metaphysical framework - since its own exclusions and biases deter any specialised support from soul refuted "in its own conditions".

So the "only" arguments vs. the comprehensive metaphysical treatment of specialised discourses - such as evolutionary conclusion - are metaphysical arguments.
The definite metaphysical confrontation is that "any" specialised support (i.e. support through second sour and convincingly doable in "particular "situations by its exclusions and confines) is robotically and by definition ornament and enthusiast in the same way as recycled as a "comprehensive "framework, yet it request be ornament and enthusiast in ways and to an magnitude inaudible to itself, as follows "empirically "indisputable.

Science Doesnt Want To Take God Away
"CAN SCIENCE Produce THE Same Match OF Devotion AS RELIGION?"
I WAS after invited to abscond a endure try-out on a radio direct in Bras'ilia, the capital of Brazil.
The try-out took place at hasten hour in the city's very jam-packed bus fatal, everyplace unmanageable masses come in from untrained areas to perform all sorts of jobs in metropolitan, from cleaning the streets to working in factories and hidden homes.
The happening would make elegant me for the rest of my life and set a new professional object that I had not proper budding in my career: to bring science to the chief come out of go fast feasible.

The interviewer asked me questions about the statistical net on the end of the world, inspired by a book I had average published called THE Seer AND THE ASTRONOMER: APOCALYPTIC SCIENCE AND THE END OF THE Cosmos. Award are multitude ways in which science can house this omission. We can see, from the Earth-shattering Property OF Typhoon HAIYAN, that the martial of Human being are further than our might, even if we arrogance ourselves on "taming" the world almost us. But the clearness of my book was on catastrophic celestial comings and goings and how they have available inspired both religious narratives and Arithmetical Cram, prior and cede. In compact, allocate the multitude instances that stars and fire and brimstone fall from the sky in the Bible, both in the Old (e.g., Text of Daniel, Sodom and Gomorrah) and the New Testament (e.g., Apocalypse of John), or how the Celts made-up that the skies would fall on their heads to make elegant the end of a time organize.

Spike to the try-out, I mentioned how the fail with a six-mile-wide asteroid that hit the Yucatan Turtle neck of modern-day Mexico had [presumably] triggered the total destruction of the dinosaurs 65 million time ago.
I ready a disquiet of explaining how that sight misused the history of life on World, release the tiny mammals of the time from shark call for and culminating with the empire of humans. My disquiet was that present-day is no petition for divine society to demonstrate these very essential episodes in our planetary and regular history. It was next that the hand went up. A tiny man with in rags clothes and grease stains on his camouflage asked: "So the doctor requirements to net even God not worth it from us?" I froze. The unhappiness in that man's express was manifest. He felt betrayed. His Hopefulness was the exactly thing he supposed on to, the exactly thing that gave him supremacy to come back to that bus direct every day to work for a humiliatingly low token recompense.

If I took God not worth it and put in its place the reasoned argumentation of science, with its empirical legalization, what would that even mean to this man? How would it help him go on with his life? How might science teach him to cope with life in a world imperfect the magic of enchantment belief? I realized next how far scientists are from the requests of top figure people; how far removed our discourse is from individuals who do not sooner than investigate science for answers, as absolutely top figure of you reading this employment sooner than do. And I realized that, in order to scope a larger switch off, to bring the wonders of science to a faraway larger scratch of the populate, we "prerequisite..." Finer"

I have always liked the look of HDR so I downloaded Photomatix to give it a go as my Photoshop skills are limited. I do not have a lot of photos with different exposures to play with so it was kinda hard to find one that worked. Yes the image is over saturated and not the best example but it was fun to play with. I am going to have to take a few more exposures when I shoot next or play around with the raw capacity of the program. The other thing I worry about with this image is that I am not sure you would know what it is by looking at it....

Tarot 101 The Basics
The basics of the Tarot Cards 101 are a good way to develop psychic awareness. If you find yourself having a feeling about the Tarot cards when you see them, chances are a deeper level of you is calling to you for a journey of discovery. There are many ways to learn about the Tarot; the symbolism, each suit, their origin, or each card, separately and intuitively, by accessing your imagination. Yes, imagination is one way to activate psychic impressions.
Now, before diving in to learn everything all at once, try a little exercise, by writing down the different ways to learn about the cards and see or feel what your strongest impression is. Sense what you feel drawn to.
When we begin developing psychic and intuitive awareness, the Tarot is a good way to begin this journey. When learning anything of a metaphysical nature, logic becomes the observer and our imagination for creativity becomes the learner.
Consider the possibility, that there are many reasons why we pick up a Tarot Deck. Are we experiencing life changes in our relationships, or our jobs or our environments? Are we feeling like the job that we have, isn't offering enough opportunity to offer more of our creativity, or our abilities?
Or, are you picking up the cards to possibly learn more about your inner self, with the possibility of assisting others on their journey in life.
Tarot Cards are a good way to develop our intuition and our inner awareness. Yes, back in the day, as it was a different time, Tarot cards were about fortune telling and predicting outcomes and futures, however, this time now, for the life changes that everyone is beginning to experience, calls for a different approach to our life, a more inner approach for our life.
Keep in mind, that once we begin utilizing the wisdom and guidance of the Tarot, it begins to expand and evolve our perceptions and ways to bring resolution and solutions to our life changes. The Tarot is most definitely a guide to developing our intuition and can guide us on the journey for our life changes. And not to be forgotten, if we by chance find that we also are wanting more information and understanding about our emotions, the Tarot is an excellent guide, in teaching us more about ourselves on a deeper, inner level.
No matter how you feel drawn to the Tarot, take your time, have patience and practice, practice, practice. Eventually, the Tarot is about the wisdom and the guidance of our inner journey to life, and makes for a good teacher.

Something About Tarot Card Meanings
Profound symbolism and unique tarot card meanings represent the elements for which tarot is one of the most well know arts of the occult. If in the old times people believed them to be very accurate in predicting death, political changes, love affairs, incredible wealth and personal ruin, things prove quite different nowadays, although the symbols are taken a lot more lightly. Tarot card meanings have become epitomes, but when investigated in context they simply give birth to a combination of elements that could or could not refer to your life or influence it. Although prediction was the initial purpose, entertainment has definitely become the main role of this future-telling art.
The most impressive tarot card meanings and symbols can be uncovered and investigated in the cards of the Major Arcana, they also carry the name of trumps. The magician, the fool, the hermit, the emperor, the queen, the hanged man, the devil or the hierophant represent the main figures in the spiritual and real realms. In the Minor Arcana the tarot card meanings substitute in fact the instances or the elements that refer to common daily life events, and these actually represent the ancestors of modern playing cards.
The four elements of the alchemy support the Minor Arcana suits, and they prove just as relevant as the complex figures designed in the Major Arcana. The cups are designated under the influence of the water element, the wands reflect the passion and courage of fire, the swords get represented by air and the pentacles stay firmly on the ground, tributary to the earth element. Thus, if some tarot card meanings relate to emotional affairs as it is the case with the fire element, the air keeps the interpretation in the realm of logic thinking while the earth brings material reality closer.
Tarot card meanings will often appear stirring and surprising in the very evocative essence of the symbols and pictures. Images have always been able to convey feelings, emotions and ideas, and we all have a huge visual repository in the deep mind layers. This represents one possible explanation for the effect tarot card readings trigger in people; a person who has never seen a tarot deck will show admiration for the symbols, designs, prints and figures combined in a very complex structure. In alternations, the graphic representations gain a striking dimension which is why the tarot card meanings charge with more significance layers.

Reversed Tarot Cards
Personally I generally try to avoid using reversed cards if at all possible. Before each reading I make sure that the cards are all upright, if a card appears reversed during the course of my reading as sometimes they inevitably it will I may interpret it as an energy blockage but I usually disregard it. This as with anything concerning the Tarot is a matter of personal preference. Just remember that reversed cards are not simply the opposite meaning of its upright interpretation as some references seem to indicate.
It is better compared to the retrograde motion of a Planet in Astrology, the influences of this Planet (card) are often turned inwards thus the outward expression tends to be somewhat awkward. A reversed card is not fully expressing itself to its greatest potential.
A method that you can employ to interpret reversed cards is to lay another card over the reversed card to reveal how the energy can be allowed to flow freely. This will determine what characteristics need to be developed to overcome the blockage or perhaps the blockage itself. If the reversed card is The Tower for instance it could indicate that you are suffering from a powerfully internal transformation. Your inner foundations are crumbling and your values are being challenged slain and overcome. This is in contrast to its upright position where it could indicate external transformation. You could then do another reading to see how this inner conflict could best be resolved and what qualities are required to overcome the adversity.

Reclaiming Yourself In Tarot Ancient Space
I have great respect for the Tarot and its meaning in my life as an expression of awakened consciousness. In a holographic universe, where I know that I am an unique articulation of the whole - particle and wave at one and the same time - revering my own potential - the Tarot is a reminder for the genius of whom I AM to become the more that I can become.
All meaning is context dependent. That is a given. So, while I have spent over 10 years contemplating the brilliance of the Tarot’s Major Arcana, it has only been in the last two years, that I have uncovered so much more of its relevance to my potential. WEL-Systems® is the quantum portal to my expanding Self-discovery. It is all very exciting! The Tarot, then, has become internalized and fully alive as a body experience for me, no longer captive to my intellect.
It happened, like a dragon awakened and released from her cave, untethered for elevating and unending flight, when I decided to change my mind about my expectations of mySelf, relative to cultural conditioning and family systems... and to choose to live my life for me, first. I figured that ‘selflessly’ doing for others in denial of myself, as I had been taught to ‘do’ over the course of my life, had not worked... ever... so, I simply chose to ‘be’ myself and to stop ‘doing’ what I had, until then, perceived as desired by others. I learned to say ‘no’ to what I did not want and ‘yes’ to what I did want. I chose to stop performing. I chose to stop ‘dying’ to be right, because the default to that was killing me... slowly and by degrees - the metaphor of death by a thousand cuts.
The Tarot was never meant to divine the future as an absolute; it has ‘lived’ throughout the ages to evoke intuition - what we know as our internal art and our internal science - and the awakening of potential in what we do not know that we do not know about ourselves. That evocation is the invitation to inhale our experience and to exhale our restructured reality. It happens in every complete breath.
There are 22 trump cards called the major arcana based on the 4 elements of creation - earth, fire, air and water. From these 22 trump cards descend another 56 cards that constitute the minor arcana. The 22 majors are the meta and non-linear perspectives for life’s natural creation, evolution and death; for starting, changing and stopping; for being, doing and having. The 56 minors speak to the finer distinctions of the 22 majors - as archetypal signatures for the energies of the four elements. Further, each of the 78 cards, defines numerology, as an organizing principle for living life large with intensity.
As Great Works each, I wonder if we ever remember the very genius of whom we are as Quantum Biological Humans™. As quantum beings, our ability to create is purely the by-product of remembering whom we are and choosing what we want to see in our worlds. The ancient Tarot is as relevant, now, to the truth of human evolution, as it was when it was first imagined into existence. What presents is never, ever, about what presents. Life as Metaphor. The Tarot speaks to the idiom, ‘Because I say so!’
Tarot is the ancient and enduring template for how we naturally create our lives elementally - crystalizing what we imagine [sight] for ourSelves [light] through open, honest, clear and direct declaration [sound]. Space, as its infinite paradigm, has been the invitation for the creation of a multitude of Tarot Decks... all expressions of quantum genius in human form. So, the Tarot is not about the Tarot; It is about the ‘game’ of life and then some. And, it is all relative to the ‘cards’ we choose to ‘play’; If we do not like the cards we’ve dealt ourSelves, we can change them. We have to choose, first.

Read Tarot Without Being Psychic
You don't have to be psychic to read Tarot and get accurate answers to questions! You can do this just as you are. Well, there are some things to learn...
In 1981 or so I listened to a professor's lectures on 'Consistent Violators of the Laws of Random Distribution.' 'The Laws of Random Distribution' is a lifetime interest of mine. In these lectures, he mentioned Tarot as one of five known consistent violators. It was the only violator one could experiment with at home. So I went out and bought me a deck, luckily the Rider Waite one. I did his experiment, and of course got the same result. It was a question about the life history of the cards themselves, and seven cards would be more likely to appear than their random chances called for.
Obviously, there is something unique about these cards. I had never heard of them before these lectures, but decided to take them up as a hobby because, as a court reporter, all the time I had for anything fun was a few minutes here and there.
I ended up buying a dozen books on the meanings of Tarot before I decided the books are f.o.s. Then I begged my way into attending other people's readings with some psychics (whom I had never met before). I discovered that these professionals did not read the cards per se: They used the colors, or got an idea from just one of the cards. They mostly ignored them. (One psychic used the Gypsy witch deck, which has the meanings printed on them.) These were people who had clients whom they pleased. When I asked them how they read the cards, they each answered 'I listen to the spirits. You do cards. Don't you hear the spirits?' Uh, no...
This is how I ended up teaching myself to read Tarot. Fortuitously, the deck I purchased when I finally found where to buy Tarot was the Rider Waite one. Also fortunately, one of the books I randomly purchased was Eden Gray's The Tarot. It had accurate detailed information on the 22 Major Arcanae, one of the suits of Tarot. It had fairly accurate beginning meanings for the remainder of the suits, meanings which reflected the illustrations on the cards. (I learned to ignore the reversed meanings as needlessly redundant.) Her book was somewhere to start.
Using no psychic talent that I knew of, I asked questions I knew the answers to, employing the entire deck for each answer, 13 cards at a time—because 13 is equally divisible by 78 cards. The reason I wanted to use the entire deck each time was, of course, to get meanings equally for each of the cards. The reason I asked questions I knew the answers to was to be able to gauge how accurate my reading of the cards was; and also because 'you can't solve an unknown with an unknown,' a concept we learn in algebra even if we learn no algebra. I kept notebooks on each of these spreads for more than ten years. Gradually, I learned not only the cards' meanings, but, more importantly, meanings for combinations of cards. My court reporting background led me to adopt verbatim phrases for these combinations. I learned some other practical things, too, like what inquiries were more compatible with the Tarot process, and what questions not to ask...like 'when?'
Expanding the 11-card layout of the traditional Celtic Cross was fortuitous too: It created three divisions of the spread, the third one being the last card turning into three cards. I discovered the three divisions read as three sentences that repeat and support one another to the degree the information in them is correct! (The first division is the first cross, the 'Celtic Cross,' of seven cards; the second is three cards, one above the other, referred to traditionally as 'the tower,' not to be confused with the Tarot card of that name.) I NOW HAVE A DIVINATION TOOL THAT REFLECTS ITS OWN ACCURACY!
A tool that answers questions (a divination tool) that indicates how accurate the information in the answer is, that is based on logical thinking: This is monumental.
You can do the same thing. You can buy a Rider Waite Tarot deck, study each illustration that you relate to (temporarily disregarding the ones that you don't connect with) and apply two or three of those cards to a subject or question you have in mind. You will eventually get your personal individual meanings for combinations of cards well enough to have Tarot adventures with your own mind. Another article, 'Read Tarot and Develop Insight, Intuition and Creative Abilities—Yes, YOU Can, Here's How' is a sister article to this one: It gives specifics on the process of applying two cards to a given question, the process that I speak of here.
Reading cards for other people is another set of skills you can acquire: That is another article, too, later.
You don't have to be a psychic to read Tarot. Tarot is, or can be, a logic based system any person can learn who can think in terms of themes and patterns.
But of course you don't have to reinvent the wheel, you can consult a genius like me to learn the meanings I discovered.

Online Tarot Readings Can Help You
A pretty popular form of entertainment, online tarot readings have become a real business for some people. Two types of services can be distinguished in the multitude of offers, there are free online tarot readings and other more special ones for which a fee is charged. Normally, many sites function according to a membership pattern and if you want to register as a member you have to pay. Who are the customers? Well, divination does attract lots of fans. There is a simple explanation behind the massive success of online tarot readings.
Troubles are part of our daily lives, and words like simple and non-complicated do not apply to regular existences; there are hundreds of moments in a life time when we long for guidance, and lots of people consider that a peek into the future could be helpful. Online tarot readings could seem like bringing clarifications to a foggy situation, one cannot help to question the reliability of tarot predictions. Even the sites dedicated to online tarot readings post disclaimers that one is not to base his/her decisions on tarot divinations since these function for entertainment rather than for real life purposes.
Actually you can trust online tarot readings as much as you believe in the personal horoscope you read in a magazine. Moreover, when you take tarot interpretations as fun, nothing harmful can come out of them. One further issue here deserves all the attention: most of the online tarot readings are generated by special softwares, and there is not a real person interpreting the deck for you. Thus, the card symbolism is in fact a random card spread with aleatory explanations. Sites with membership services will provide one-to-one tarot predictions, but these kind of readings take money out of your pocket.
Online tarot readings therefore differentiate themselves a lot from the face-to-face ones performed by tarot grandmasters. More energy transfer comes with direct physical contact which is why tarot interpretations could be a lot more meaningful in such cases than when performed online. However, the warning we've launched about trusting cards too much stays valid. It is wrong and irresponsible to change your life course on the basis of card predictions; take things lightly and you will neither be disappointed nor suffer some personal disillusionment because of faulty choice making.

Numerology And The Tarot
Traditionally there are 56 minor arcana cards -- the Ace through Ten, plus the four Helper Cards. Esoterically, 56 was known as the god number, the masculine energy, the active energy, the force of the creation principal.
The 56 is the vibration of the natal number of the Celtic sun god, who was known as the son of Tara, the Earth Mother; his aura shot-out 14 feet in all directions from his head (the rays went out into the four directions evenly balanced).
When the fourteen minor cards of each Element suit (Ace through Ten and the Helper Cards) are laid out in each of the cardinal directions -- east, south, west and north -- we see the design of the Celtic Cross, which represents the energy vibration of the number 56. Thus, the number of the solar god becomes grounded into the earth plain.
The design of the minor arcana, the lesser secrets, the 56 vibration, the male number, then becomes representative of the phallic or the fertilization gods, activating the masculine principle of the life force here in physical world of action, and within the conscious mind.
It is important to take into consideration that each card in each suit represents a particular aspect of human consciousness or experience. In each of the Element suits, the Ones contain many of the same properties; the Twos are similar, as are the Threes, and so on, through to the Tens.
When the 56 concept of energy vibration is applied to the Element Suits it is represented through the numerological vibration of each card's number first and foremost, and secondly, through each card's astrological affiliation.
The science of numerology is based on harmonious vibration. The understanding of numerology is to find the inner harmony, which will enable each of us to vibrate at an equal pace with the vibration of our planet Earth.
The world travels at a rapid rate. Scientists have noted that the vibration of the earth increases at the rate of one hour a week, which means our inner vibration, will also continually shift.
The vibrations that govern the universe affect us all for we are all a part of it. As a part of the whole we are affected by every change in the universal rate of vibration -- and the rate changes every time there appears a different number in year, month or day, or in the case of Tarot, with every card.
The universal vibration is like a stage set for a play. We may read the whole play but we memorize only the lines in our own role. Numerology helps us to work with these natural vibrations rather than against them.
When the science of numerology is applied to the tarot cards, the number, which governs the card, gives deeper insight into the hidden meaning of the card, and can thus be used as an additional correspondence -- an important action for our role in the play.
The following is an easy reference for the basic constructive value of the numbers One through Nine.

Two: Love, service, gentleness, harmony, adaptability, charm, diplomacy, friendliness, rhythm, music, receptivity, cooperation, consideration for others, will, purpose, initial understanding.
Three: Artistic expression, joy of living, freedom from worry, optimism, inspiration, talent, imagination, good taste, sociability, friendliness, kindness, conception, beginning manifestation.

Seven: Mental analysis, technicality, introspection, peace, poise, scientific research, spirituality, faith, trust, stoicism, refinement, wisdom, silence, “theories and fundamentals,” feeling, deepening, mystery.
Eight: Power, authority, success, material freedom, judgment, discrimination, executive ability, organization, leadership, management, practicality, thoroughness, dependability, self-reliance, control, the power to succeed, repose, consideration, retreat, ripening.
Nine: Universal love, sisterhood, brotherhood, charity, compassion, the Higher Law, artistic genius, selfless service, philanthropy, humanitarianism, magnetism, sympathy, understanding, romance, generosity, breadth of viewpoint, understanding before or beyond words, strengthening.
Each number's "key words" can be applied to the meaning of a tarot card, when the number of the card seems to stand out prominently to you, which would then have a significant interpretation in the spread.
The application of numerology to the Element suits can be taken a step further by applying the concept of mathematical or geometrical symbols, which tell the story of how numbers evolve, as well as adding the expression of the energy movement behind numerology.

Nine Of Swords Meditation For Troubled Worries
Tarot Affirmations are positive statements using the Tarot, to center ourselves while energizing our Mojo! My goal is to help invigorate higher vibrations with creative visualization for self-awareness, while enhancing one's perspective, confidence, and productivity. Becoming part of the imagery is a necessity as it allows all senses to be encountered. Proclaiming and vocalizing your personal statement out-loud 'seals your agreement' with the Universe. Disciplined practitioners sense a significant change within seventy-two hours of repeating the oath. Inexperienced users must understand that it can take a little longer until you find your own rhythm to encounter the magic of will and assertion.
Meditation: Sit for a few minutes alone, with eyes closed and a goal to relax. Calm all thoughts and emotions until you are aware of the quietness that surrounds you. With slow and deep breaths, feel yourself float into this calm energy, feeling your body and mind also adjusting to this quietness. All the noise disappears and you feel at peace. Pay attention to the soundless spirit, as you cleanse and exist with silence.
Visualization: Today's card image can assist you in this meditative affirmation. We can start by thinking about the thoughts that have caused us doubt and confusion. What mental images do we focus on repetitively that create stress and fear in our lives? Like the nightmarish image in the card, we are the sole creator of our own inner torment. Understand that as we allow a disturbing snapshot of worry to live in our mind, another will breed from it, like bacteria. We know that this isn't good for us, but we choose to carry it along with us - throughout our day, and our night.
Think about your the bothering thoughts that cause you an uneasy feeling, the ones that you can not put to rest. Imagine each of these frightful thoughts hanging above you, dangling about like an unwanted friend. Anxiety and fear are not good companions. Visualize the negative energy floating over top of you, while paying attention to your body and the way it feels when inconvenience enters your world. Feel the pressure it causes. It doesn't feel very good, but again, you choose to carry it around with you. Continuing to visualize, reach above and grab your 'worry'. Hold it, and quickly slip it beneath your bottom. That's right, you're going to sit on it. If you have other worry's' up above you, do the same and slip them under you. You're going to force those towering thoughts of negativity to submit to you. They are not worthy, and by taking control - you give them an inferior status. Wiggle your butt, gently bounce, and flatten useless troubles of 'potential possibilities' and 'what if's'. Squash them hard, and smash those homies.
After you have shifted your body about, crushing what has been plaguing you... sit back and relax. Breathe with a long sigh of relief. Enjoy the position that you are in. You have complete control over your imagined problems. You have power over your mind again. Notice a feeling of pure emptiness that surrounds you. Your head is clear, your shoulders relax, your muscles lose tension. Breathe and release whatever ounce of worry might be left. Let it all out - and imagine it like a feather, floating from your breath. Let it fall to the floor so that you are ready to leave the room, you can step on it as you rise. The heavy weight that has been a burden is released, and only you have the power to keep it at a distance.
The Affirm: While being one with yourself, announce your trusted affirmation:
Worries are beneath me.
My mind is empty and at peace.
I see the world as it is, not as I imagine.
Now go get your mantra on!
